What is coaching?

Coaching is a process to help you achieve positive change for yourself. It helps maximise your potential by strategizing and supporting how you get there, whilst supporting you in doing so. Through coaching you'll uncover what's holding you back and learn to challenge any limiting thoughts, behaviours or beliefs finding solutions unique to you. A good coach will support you in achieving your goals, whatever they may be.

How is coaching different from other approaches?

Coaching is different from other one to one developmental roles such as therapy, counselling or mentoring. Its core belief is that you already have within you the power to create the change you want to see; you are the expert in your own life. A Coach simply supports you in your realisations and progress. Coaching is present and future focussed. Whilst other approaches can keep you in the past, coaching works from where you are now to where you'd like to be.

How do coaching sessions work?

Coaching sessions each last 50 minutes and are purchased in blocks - eight to begin with, then blocks of six. Initially we will explore what you'd like to focus on for the sessions ahead (if you don't know, that's fine too). Each following session will work towards this, taking into account anything that crops up week to week (hey, it's life, things change).

Where do sessions take place?

Drift & Design are based in London yet work internationally. Sessions can take place over the phone or Zoom.

How frequent are the sessions?

Sessions take place ideally once a week, always within 10 days. This is so you have time to digest, reflect and do the work in between (yes there is work, this is your commitment to yourself). We want to maintain momentum and keep you motivated..

Can I book an initial call to find out if this is right for me?

Absolutely. In fact we speak to all interested clients before working together. It needs to be the right fit and you need to feel comfortable to get the most out of sessions.

What are your fees?

Fees vary for individuals, paired sessions (Co-Founders) and organisations. For individuals an initial course of 6 or 8 sessions must be purchased. On completion of any course, individual booster sessions can be purchased.  Please see our packages page for prices. Small businesses and Corporates please get in touch for prices.

EFT

What is EFT?

EFT is a powerful mind-body tool that reduces cortisol (stress hormone) and brings the nervous system into balance (its ventral vagal state). Often referred to as "tapping" EFT is an energy psychology that combines principles of ancient Chinese acupressure with modern psychology.

How do EFT sessions work?

On beginning a session the practitioner will gain an overveiw from the client on their presenting issue. Led by the practitioner with the client copying they work through the set tapping process whilst speaking or silent processing. Along the way the practitioner will break to check in with the client and see if the emotional/energetic intensity is reducing. At the end of the session the practitioner will ensure the client is grounded and that the negative charge of their energy/emotions is reduced.

Where do sessions take place?

Drift & Design are based in London yet work internationally. Sessions take place over Zoom or Google Meet.

How frequent are the sessions?

It is up to you when you choose to book sessions. If you are working towards a longer term goal, perhaps a deeper rooted issue then change will take time and more sessions will be needed over a regular period. We suggest a 7 day window. However if you are looking for more surface level, immediate release then you can book whenever you feel the need. Book a discovery call to learn more.

What can I use EFT for?

EFT is a great modality for reducing stress, anxiety and improving all over mental and emotional wellbeing. It is a brilliant tool for preventing and overcoming burnout, dealing with break-ups or in processing grief.  It supports working through physical pain, phobias, chronic health such as  long covid or autoimmunity, and trauma. On the flip side it can be a great tool for raising great energy and can help psych you up ready for pitches or presentations or manifesting your dream life.

How long will it take before I notice change?

It depends. If you are working towards a longer term goal, perhaps a deep routed issue then change will take time and more sessions will be needed over a regular period. This can take months or years and may be best complimented with other modalities and therapies. For some, the shift is profound, can occur relatively quickly and be long lasting, for others it takes time and deeper exploration. In order to get the most out of sessions and get to the root cause quicker, the process needs you to be as radically honest with self and practitioner as possible.
